This marks the second Open Submission Exhibition since New Greenham Arts opened in 1999 and the first since its merger with the Corn Exchange in 2001.
The title, 'In Common', was chosen to inspire thoughts relating to the human and world condition and to shared and universal themes. It also makes reference to the site of Greenham Common and its important historical legacy |

For this exhibition Gemma's work "Brighton Beach" was situated in the Corn Exchange in the Newbury's Town Centre. An eclectic mix of local artists curated under the theme of In Common. Materials, Concepts and Subject matter underlaid the theme creating a diverse exhibition, but one in which common contemporary concerns tie the artists together. |
